Welcome beginning beekeepers! You’re on a fascinating, rewarding journey but it isn’t simple and can sometimes be frustrating. At our monthly meetings, those with a new interest in beekeeping and those with a little experience may be overwhelmed by advanced topics or subjects not directly related to managing a backyard apiary. We try to include fresh information for all members and it can leave you with more questions than answers.
There’s good news! We are partnering with our meeting location host, Athens-Clarke County Extension, to have regular meetings at the hives behind the facility.
